After the Occultation of the Twelfth Holy Imam (ASWS)
When, by the eternal Wisdom of Almighty Allah, the Twelfth Holy Imam, Hadrat Imam Muhammad Al-Mahdi (Alaihis Salato Was Salam), was concealed from the outward sight of the world, the sacred lamp of blessed guidance was in no way extinguished. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaho Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wasallam) had already proclaimed the immortal principle:
"Al-Walayat-o-Nayyabat-un-Nabuwah" — Walayah (sainthood) is the blessed deputyship of Prophethood.
In accordance with this sacred saying, the pure task of spreading the true teachings of Islam and the sublime Shariat-e-Mutahira passed into the blessed hands of the Awliya Allah — those chosen friends of the Almighty upon whose hearts the noor of the Holy Prophet (SAWAW) descends without pause, and whose every breath is a silent call towards Almighty Allah and the love of His Beloved (SAWAW) and the Holy Ahle Bait Athaar (ASWS).
Hadrat Hasan Basri (RA) — The Opening of the Blessed Chain
The foremost of these blessed personalities was Hadrat Hasan Basri (Radi Allah-Ho Anhu), the great Tabi'i, nurtured under the direct spiritual gaze of Hadrat Ali-ul-Murtaza (Alaihis Salato Was Salam). From his blessed gatherings in Basra flowed rivers of knowledge, zuhd, taqwa and love for the Holy Prophet (SAWAW). Countless seekers drank from that fountain, and from him opened the visible chain of Tasawwuf — the science of purifying the heart, of remembrance of Almighty Allah, and of walking upon the blessed footsteps of the Beloved of Almighty Allah (SAWAW).
The Successive Awliya Allah of the Ummah
After Hadrat Hasan Basri (RA), Almighty Allah continued to raise, in every generation and in every land, blessed personalities who carried the trust of Walayah. Among them shine names such as Hadrat Habib Ajami (RA), Hadrat Dawood Tai (RA), Hadrat Ma'roof Karkhi (RA), Hadrat Sirri Saqti (RA), Hadrat Junaid Baghdadi (RA), Hadrat Bayazid Bastami (RA), Hadrat Fudail Ibn Iyad (RA), Hadrat Ibraheem Bin Adham (RA), Hadrat Rabia Basri (RA), Hadrat Data Ganj Bakhsh Ali Hujwiri (RA), Hadrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Ajmeri (RA), and many more. Each was a lamp of guidance in his or her own era, silently transforming hearts, cities and entire regions towards the pure light of the Deen of Muhammad (SAWAW).
Hadrat Syed Abdul Qadir Jillani Hasni Hussaini Baghdadi (RA) — Founder of the Qadaria Order
Amongst these blessed successors, one blessed personality rose to a station unmatched in the annals of Walayah — Hadrat Ghous-ul-Azam, Syed Abdul Qadir Jillani Hasni Hussaini Baghdadi (Radi Allah-Ho Anhu). By his blessed lineage, he was of the noble Sadaat, gathering in his blessed self the light of both Hadrat Imam Hasan-ul-Mujtaba (Alaihis Salato Was Salam) and Hadrat Imam Husain (Alaihis Salato Was Salam). By his blessed knowledge, he was an ocean before whom the greatest scholars of Baghdad bowed their heads. By his blessed states, he was declared in the sacred assemblies of the Awliya Allah as the blessed foot of every Wali resting upon his blessed shoulder.
Through him Almighty Allah established the Qadaria Order — a sacred silsilah of remembrance, love and adherence to the Holy Quran and Sunnah, from which countless orders, teachers and lovers of the Holy Prophet (SAWAW) and the Holy Ahle Bait Athaar (ASWS) have since drawn their blessed light. The Qadaria Order, from that day till this, has continued to nurture seekers across every land under the banner of Walayah — the blessed deputyship of Prophethood.
The Founding of the Owaisi Qadari Qalandari Order
In the modern age, upon the spiritual instructions received directly from the blessed heart of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaho Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wasallam), the Chief Qalandar of his blessed time, Sarkaar Hadrat Peer Muhammad Bashir Ahmad Alvi Al-Owaisi, Qadari, Qalandari, Panjtani, Daimi-al-Huzoori (Noor Allah Marqadah), founded the blessed Owaisi Qadari Qalandari Order. This sacred Order was established for a single, luminous purpose — to revive and spread the true teachings of Islam and the pure Shariat-e-Mutahira, with a particular emphasis upon establishing sound belief in, and keeping alive a living love with, the Holy Ahle Bait Athaar (Alaihimus Salato Was Salam).
The Order draws its blessed name from three luminous springs — the Owaisi way of receiving spiritual grace directly from the blessed presence of the Holy Prophet (SAWAW) after the manner of Hadrat Owais Qarni (RA); the Qadaria way of adherence, discipline and remembrance inherited from Hadrat Ghous-ul-Azam (RA); and the Qalandari way of complete detachment from the world and utter absorption in the love of Almighty Allah, His Beloved (SAWAW), and the Holy Ahle Bait Athaar (ASWS).
Sarkaar Hadrat Peer Muhammad Bashir Ahmad Alvi Al-Owaisi (Noor Allah Marqadah)
Sarkaar (Noor Allah Marqadah) was among the most knowledgeable personalities of his century — a great Sufi Saint whose blessed inner sight, boundless knowledge and gentle majesty drew seekers from every walk of life. His blessed knowledge was not confined to the pages of any single discipline; rather, Almighty Allah had opened upon his blessed heart the doors of Ma'rifah, Tafseer, Hadees, Fiqh, Tasawwuf and the sciences of the heart in such a manner that his blessed answers illuminated whatever subject was placed before him.
By the special grace of Almighty Allah, he was blessed with the exalted station of Daimi-al-Huzoori — a state of unbroken spiritual presence in the blessed court of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWAW). Through this blessed station, he honoured his Murideen and countless Muslims with the spiritual pilgrimage (Ziarat) of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaho Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wasallam), of Hadrat Maula Ali-ul-Murtaza (Alaihis Salato Was Salam), and of other blessed male personalities from the Holy Ahle Bait Athaar (Alaihimus Salato Was Salam) — a blessing whose depth only the sincere seeker can truly appreciate.
Many scholars, jurists and highly educated persons of the age came into his blessed presence intending to test him with their difficult questions. Yet such was the overwhelming light of his blessed heart that he never gave them the opportunity to raise a single word aloud; instead, before their tongues could move, he answered the very questions hidden in their hearts — leaving them silent, humbled and utterly convinced of the truth that stood before them.
This great Chief Qalandar of the age departed from this blessed world on January 31, 1998, returning to the blessed presence of his beloved Almighty Allah. Yet the blessed lamp he lit continues to shine through the Owaisi Qadari Qalandari Order, guiding seekers of every generation towards the pure teachings of Islam, the sublime Shariat-e-Mutahira, and a living, sound love for the Holy Ahle Bait Athaar (Alaihimus Salato Was Salam).

May Almighty Allah shower His countless blessings upon the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaho Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wasallam), upon his Holy Ahle Bait Athaar (Alaihimus Salato Was Salam), upon all the blessed Awliya Allah — foremost among them Hadrat Ghous-ul-Azam (RA) and our blessed master Sarkaar Hadrat Peer Muhammad Bashir Ahmad Alvi Al-Owaisi (Noor Allah Marqadah) — and upon every soul that walks in the blessed light of this sacred chain till the Day of Judgement. Aameen.
